Weekly Astro Forecast May 9th~ May May 15th 2021

Welcome to a new, fresh week, and Happy Mother’s Day! I hope everyone’s having a wonderful Sunday!

This week, we have a New Moon occurring on Tuesday, May 11th in the sign of Taurus. With the New Moon signaling a start of a new cycle, and also being in Taurus, it’s time to enjoy life’s pleasures, to stop and smell the roses, and to become aware and gravitate towards what brings us comfort and security. The New Moon is always the time to begin anew, to plan and set the stage for the upcoming cycle and what you want to come to fruition. This Lunar cycle is also going to feel whacky as we approach the Full Blood Moon Eclipse on May 26th (check back that week for a blog post!)

Jupiter will change it up, moving into Pisces on Thursday, May 13th. Jupiter will only temporarily be in this sign, going retrograde in June then moving back to Aquarius in July. Jupiter moving into Pisces is going to help with feeling a sense of faith and optimism restored, and after it moves into Aquarius for a few more months, it’ll move into Pisces for good next year. There should be an embracing of the unknown with more comfort, rather than fear or anxiety (as most of us have experienced one way or another over the past year.)

I hope everyone enjoys the rest of this week! Remember, always take time to recharge, rethink, and live life on purpose. Too many of us get wrapped up in what’s going on in the world, or allowing others to dictate how we feel, and it’s time to change the way of thinking. You can’t be mad all the time, you can’t be in control all the time, and you CAN only control yourself, the way you act, and the way you REact.

Blessings,

Kelsie

Weekly Astro Forecast March 14th ~ March 20th 2021

I’m a couple days late this week, my apologies! I’ve spent most of my time fasting, preparing for Spring, and had several clients, and updating the Weekly Forecast slipped my mind. Guess I should use a calendar to keep all of my plans together so nothing gets missed again!

This week, the Sun is finishing up its time in Pisces, and we are moving onto the restart of the Zodiac by moving into Aries starting this Saturday, March 20th at 5:37 AM. With Aries being the first sign of the Zodiac, the presence marks the beginning of something energetic and turbulent. Aries is a Fire sign, the sign of the Lamb, and also starts the beginning of Spring. Aries is an impulsive but brave sign, motivated by the desire to conquer. You might have a bit of distraction, or no solid plans on just *how* to finish goals, but the energy and will to do it somehow will still be in play!

Mercury, which has been in an extended-stay in the sign Aquarius due to the Retrograde cycle earlier this year, will be finally moving into the sign of Pisces starting March 15th. Mercury, which is a planet of day-to-day communications, expressions and relationships, will move into having us thin more visually, intuitively, and imaginatively. We’ll guess well, express ourselves with imagery, and will be more attracted to consciousness-raising information. There should be a better flow of our communication, although possibly a little more emotional due to the differences between Aquarius and Pisces.

Also happening this week is the Spring Equinox, which will also be arriving Saturday, March 20th at 5:37 AM. You may have been feeling a desire to be more active, get out and socialize a little more, and do some deep cleaning and reorganizing (also known as Spring Cleaning!). Just as we cleanse the physical, I like to take time to cleanse the mind and the body, which is why I’ve been doing a couple of fasts and deepening my meditation practice. Later this week, I will be posting about different Spring celebrations, different terms and beliefs on this change in seasons, so look to your inbox for the next post!

Blessings,

Kelsie

New Moon in Pisces ~ March 13th, 2021

As we come to a close of this Lunar cycle, approaching quickly is the start of a new Lunar cycle! Many of you know that moon cycles go from one New Moon to the next – a fresh start with the New Moon, culmination of intentions and action around the Full Moon, then a review and giving thanks to the old cycle as we reach the new. March 13th, 2021, we will be entering a new Moon cycle, starting with a New Moon in Pisces, occurring at 5:21 AM EST.

While the Moon is entering into the sign of Pisces, remember, the Sun is also in the sign of Pisces, meaning we’re going to be getting a double dose of this Water sign. Expect to feel more in tune and creative, but also more emotional. Make sure not to take things too personally, as there definitely are people who aren’t connected to the Heavens but will still be influenced by the energies around. The Sign of Pisces is also one of mysticism, so it will be a good time to dive a little deeper into your magick, intuition, and any intentions, goals, and desires you set forth for this Lunar Cycle. Neptune rules the sign of Pisces, a planet that governs water and dreams, so now is the perfect time to explore the mystic side of yourself.

Coming up next week, we have a change of Seasons, so I hope you’ll stay tuned next week for the posts I’ll be making about this wonderful time of year! Maybe take some time to do some deep cleaning, recycling, and getting in touch with nature as She begins to awaken 🙂

Blessings,

Kelsie

Weekly Astro Forecast March 7th ~ March 13th 2021

To start off, welcome to a fresh, new week ahead! Have you been feeling the Spring energies coming your way (or Fall energies, for those in the southern hemisphere)? I know I have! A great way to work with this energy is to do what is known as “Spring Cleaning”, which is doing exactly what that term says! For myself, I’ve donated several boxes of random stuff around the house that wasn’t needed any longer, and gotten some jars cleaned out and donated to friends on the path. I didn’t need an entire kitchen cabinet of jars anyways… 🙂

This upcoming Saturday, March 13th, we have a New Moon in Pisces at about 5:21 AM EST. The New Moon is always a start of a new lunar cycle, so if you practice Moon Magick, be sure to have an intention, promise, or vow ready. The New Moon is a time of new beginnings, lasting an entire cycle from New Moon to the next. With the Pisces energy, it’s a good time to put time into yourself for peaceful and relaxing activities, or working on intuition and visualization.

Also happening this upcoming Saturday (March 13th), we are having our yearly alignment between Venus and Neptune, and highly romantic energies can be about! We’ll be especially sensitive and aware of beauty and spirituality, and can extend more understanding and compassion with one another. This energy will extend into the next day, so it may be a good time to plan a romantic weekend getaway!

The following Saturday, March 20th at 2:37 AM, we will be celebrating the First Day of Spring, March Equinox, Spring Equinox, and several religious and spiritual aspects come along with this! I will be posting soon about this magical time of year, different celebrations and a brief history, so keep an eye out! You can also subscribe to this blog, and get every new post directly to your inbox!

I still offer readings, spiritual guidance, and mentorship. If you are seeking, I am available! Contact me here, or send me an e-mail at kelsiemasseo@icloud.com , and I will get back to you as soon as I can. Have an amazing week!

Blessings,

Full Moon in Virgo ~ February 27th, 2021

Welcome in the second Full Moon of the year, this one is known to us as the “Snow Moon”, and this Full Moon will occur February 27th, 2021 at 3:17 AM EST. Full Moons are a time of culmination and promise of fulfillment of that which was started at the New Moon, and is a time of fertilization, romance, and relationships. With the Virgo-Pisces axis involved (with the Sun being in Pisces), this Full Moon guides us to find a balance with day-to-day functions, the need for order, spiritual health, and the infinite.

This Full Moon urges us to find balance with work and service, widening our eyes for our habits, health and routines. Some sort of crisis pro sudden awareness of a “lack” in our lives could lead us to explore our emotional needs within the house where the Full Moon occurs in our natal charts. The energies are getting ready to re-align themselves fully, and in a mostly positive and empowering way.

The Full Moon is also a time to reflect on what projects you started with the New Moon. Whatever you’ve been working towards is ready for the spotlight of awareness, and good stones to work with are moonstone, selenite, and quartz. Making Full Moon water is also advised, and with Virgo being the sign, you can use this for work related to cleanliness, health, routines, and organization. When making Full Moon water, be sure to use clean water (and a lid!) if you are planning to consume it!

Along with this Full Moon, we are nearing the end of the Post Retrograde shadow left by Mercury, and also will be having a 9 WEEK (yes, WEEKS!) period where there will be ZERO planets in retrograde! This is an amazing time to really grind, get everything you want to get done, done, and to step forward with ideas that have accumulated over the past several weeks! When we have all planets flowing direct, there’s really no obstacles in your way to success in your personal, public, and work life!

Weekly Astro February 21st ~ February 27th 2021

New week, new beginnings!

This Saturday we will have our Full Moon in Virgo (exact time being Saturday, February 27th, 2021 at 3:17 AM EST). The Full Moon is the middle of the moon cycle, bringing fulfillment and speed to what you started at the New Moon. This Moon also forms an opposition to the Sun in Pisces (an opposition is when two signs/planets are complete opposites of each other on the wheel), meaning we will feel pressed to find a balance with Virgo aspects such as routines, order, and physical health VS the Pisces aspects with spiritual health, vision and the infinite. Pisces rules the tools we use to handle our spiritual self while Virgo rules the day-to-day. This will be a good time to look at how we are balancing our spiritual and physical lives, without feeling too overwhelmed by the opposing energies.

Another change we have this week is Venus moving from Aquarius to Pisces, happening on February 25th. With Venus being in Aquarius, we have been experiencing a freedom of expression with our relationships and balancing out independence. Aquarius themes have been allowing one another freedom, treating others impartially and unselfishly, and with moving into Pisces, our love is forgiving and compassionate. Venus, being the Goddess of Love, in Pisces, shows us deep understanding and all-embracing affection. Remember, this doesn’t just apply to our ROMANTIC relationships, but ALL of our relationships (hopefully you truly love your friends!)

Also, as you may have noticed, Mercury is stationed direct once again! Mercury went direct on February 20th, but you may still feel the sludgy energy for a couple of weeks, known as the Post-Retrograde shadow. It’s a good time to look at what you had going on prior to the retrograde, or ideas you have drawn up during retrograde, and start putting motions back into action. One step at a time of course, but you’ll be able to feel the energies and know when you can start back up once again.

Hopefully we are all taking this time to prepare for Spring, prepare for the energies and warmth to come! If you are interested in having your own astrology readings, please contact me. I am taking on new clients on a continual basis 🙂

Blessings,

Kelsie

Sun Has Entered Pisces!

The Sun has officially entered the sign of Pisces, starting today (February 18th, 2021) and lasting until March 20th, 2021. Pisces is known for empathy, devotion, and selfless love, and the shadow side rules passivity, elusiveness, and a little bit of self-pity. While still sitting in Mercury Retrograde (for only a couple more days, but the shadow period will linger!) we may feel a pull towards forgiveness and compassion with the help of Pisces. No matter your sun sign, you will feel the effects of Pisces, which is all about wearing those rose-colored glasses and getting in touch with your intuition.

This can also be a great time to explore what exists beyond our five senses. Pisces, being the twelfth and final sign of the zodiac, gives us a touch of every sign and can feel pretty magical to say the least. Opening your third-eye chakra can be beneficial during this time, and you can do this through working with an energy healer or through your own meditation. Sparking this can enhance creativity and help clarify your purpose!

If you’re wanting a more in-depth reading for how Sun (or, any planet!) transits can affect your day-to-day, I offer natal chart readings! Contact me through e-mail at kelsiemasseo@icloud.com, or send me a message here on the site. Blessings!

Weekly Astro Forecast for the week of February 14th thru February 20th, 2021

On Friday, February 19th, we will have the First Quarter Moon in Gemini form a square with the Sun moving into Pisces. There will be an urgent awareness to take action, maybe a time of stress and discord, but also high energy, growth, and motivation.

Our Sun, which has been in Aquarius from January 19th to February 18th will be transiting into Pisces, which will last from February 18th to March 20th. This time of year can be quite a spiritual moment, with Pisces being the 12th and final sign. We might be less motivated as we had felt during the time of Sun being in Aquarius, but the sign Pisces rules wisdom, devotion, empathy and love. However, you should be aware of tendencies to believe too quickly, too deeply, or becoming too dependent on things that people seem to offer as quick and easy answers to life’s deepest yearnings.

Also ending this week will be Mercury Retrograde, which ran its course starting January 30th and ending February 20th. Don’t get too excited: There is a shadow period that occurs right before, and right AFTER the retrograde that can be felt as almost just intense as the retrograde itself. Those of us who are more in tune with the heavens tend to notice these trends of shadow periods, but it can still be a good place to start slowly going forward with what ideas and goals we have set for ourselves.

I hope everyone had a good week, and blessings for the week ahead!

Kelsie
